Si svolgerà a Berlino Power for Change! Global Forum for Women Film Organizations durante le Berlinale 2023 il 17 febbraio 2023 alle ore 10 presso l’Ambasciata del Canada in Germania.

L’appuntamento è organizzato da Power to Transform! in collaborazione con WIFTI (Women in Film & Television International), SWIFT, (Sisters Working in Film and Television, South Africa),  EWA (European Women’s Audiovisual Network), CIMA (Asociación de Mujeres Cineastas y de Medios Audiovisuales) e Screencraft Works.

L’evento si comporrà di due momenti, uno a porte chiuse nel quale si discuterà delle sfide affrontate dall’industria cinematografica e dalle donne durante e dopo a causa delle pandemia. Quale potrebbe oggi essere il percorso da seguire per il raggiungimento dell’equilibrio di genere?

Nella parte pubblica che segue, i riflettori saranno puntati sul lavoro delle registe nelle aree di crisi che stanno scuotendo il mondo. Si vuole rendere visibile l’importanza delle voci femminili durante le crisi e nei sistemi restrittivi. Sono invitate donne cineaste provenienti da Iran, Afghanistan e Ucraina che condivideranno le loro prospettive.
